The Foundation seeks integral development of dropout and impoverished children by establishing non-formal education centers. We value and respect children and attempt to promote a better future through education. Foundation interacts with the government official especially educational officers to find out needy area. There are Block Education Officers and Basic Education Officers at District level to make sure that there is access to all children without any discrimination for education. Target Areas are selected according to their suggestion and our evaluation.
Once a village is selected, The Foundation seeks the support of village president who is the head of the local body of government to implement the program. We start non-formal education centers only with the written consent of the village president. Once it is sanctioned, we call a village level meeting and collect names of potential students, if required through door to door survey. Based on the number of children we appoint teachers and arrange a room as our education center.
Mostly we try to attain government community resource for such facilities. A parents meeting also conduct before opening the center to disclose our policies and strategies. A collaborative approach makes our mission success possible.
Tripathi Foundation is a non-profit, privately funded foundation in India. We believe in the power of education as a sustainable and long term solution for children in impoverished states.
